Description

Whether you want to protect young plants from the frost in the winter, or grow some vegetables for your summer BBQ, a Cold Frame is a must all-year-round for the green fingered.

Using our 'clear as glass' uPVC glazing for the sliding doors on top, and PVC twin-walling for the front and side panels, we've ensured our frames are as safe as possible for use in an environment with children or pets.

The uPVC twin-walling uses hollow air-space insulation cladding board to retain heat and the 2.5mm thick clear glazing panels are all precut to size and come with a 5 year manufacturers clarity guarantee.

There is NO GLASS in our products.

Aesthetically pleasing and safe for children

A really good looking cold frame. Easy to use and much better than other similar glass products. Great if you have young children.

    Sturdy Garden Frame

Good quality product, the only downside was the instructions.

They are very poor and don`t show you much detail about the amount of screws to be put on some of the panels. Also the top assembly instructions has parts missing from the instructions
, took about 5 hours to build

    Good Size, Excellent Value

My instructions comprised two pages out of three, so I had to call. I was directed to the website, but my model was not shown! Eventually I was sent the last page. Overall I found it tricky to assemble and the instructions should have been more comprehensive [eg a few more enlarged views of joints]. The finished product is a little flexible, so needs careful carrying once complete, due tio its large size. Excellent value however.

    Good value for money

As an old Norfolk customer with two of their greenhouses I decided to treat myself to the Ultimate cold frame and was not disappointed. the end result is a large good looking frame very sturdy easily pegged down with a packet of tent pegs from the pound shop which very conveniently just fit through the ready made holes in the frame. It looks great on the allotment and now allows me to harden off my plants well, before planting out. If you need to contact the company at all I have always found them to be courteous and efficient, great after sales customer service which is a bonus these days.

Value for money, but not quite perfect

The picture makes this frame look twice as big as it actually is, so make sure you go by the measurement not the visual. The instructions are very basic and leave a lot of guess work about what screws to use where, and I needed to go out and buy extra screws as while I had all that were due to be supplied, there were more holes than there were screws. There is no provision for holding the completed frame down, such as pegs or mounts or anything, so I will need to figure out a way to keep it in place in the winds we have here. Other than that, it is great value for money and looks quite smart once we got it up. You probably won't find any better at this price, so you can't complain about it not being perfect.
